We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading automotive service centre and tyre retailer with multiple locations nationwide, for the position of MOT Technician in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking a stable and rewarding career within a dynamic environment.
Benefits of the MOT Technician:
Competitive salary between £36,000 and £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Uncapped monthly bonus potential exceeding £3,600.
Attractive 42.5-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.
One in two Saturdays, 8:00am to 4:00pm, with a day off in the week when working a Saturday.

Conduct MOT tests in accordance with Ministry standards.
Diagnose and carry out vehicle servicing and repair work.
Assist in workshop support tasks as necessary.
Provide high-quality work within designated timeframes.
Occasionally assist at the front reception desk with customer inquiries.
Maintain excellent customer service standards.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.Requirements of the MOT Technician:
Proven experience as an MOT Technician.
Valid MOT Tester’s licence.
Full UK driving licence with minimal points.
Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Cheltenham.
Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge.
Friendly, approachable manner suitable for customer-facing interactions.
