We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading automotive service centre and tyre retailer with multiple nationwide locations, for an experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join their busy centre in Chippenham. The successful individual will be key in delivering high-quality vehicle servicing, repairs, and MOT testing to the highest standards.

Competitive starting salary £38,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience

Guaranteed 42.5-hour week, over five days, Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday offDuties of the Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester:
Conduct MOT tests in accordance with Ministry standards
Diagnose and carry out appropriate servicing and repairs
Provide workshop support and assist with customer enquiries when required
Maintain high standards of workmanship within specified timeframes
Assist at the front reception with customer interactions as needed
Ensure compliance with safety and quality protocolsRequirements of the Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester, gained through employment or apprenticeship
Valid MOT testing licence
UK driving licence with minimal points
Reliable and friendly manner capable of working well within a team
Ability to produce high-quality work efficiently
