We are seeking a dedicated MOT Technician to join a well-established multi-site automotive group in Portsmouth. This MOT Technician role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a reputable dealership, known for quality service and customer satisfaction. The successful individual will be responsible for maintaining high standards across vehicle repairs, servicing, and MOT testing, working in a modern, fully equipped workshop environment.

Competitive basic salary up to £37,000, with potential OTE exceeding £40,000 through uncapped bonus structure
Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am – 5:00pm, with weekends off

Long service rewardsDuties of a MOT Technician:
Conduct vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance to a high standard
Perform diagnostics and fault-finding on a range of vehicle makes and models
Complete work within specified timeframes and ensure quality standards are met
Accurately record all work carried out in company systems
Participate in manufacturer training to maintain technical proficiency
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
Conduct MOT testing in accordance with DVSA standardsRequirements of a MOT Technician:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Mechanical or Repair
Proven experience as a MOT Technician
Strong diagnostic and repair skills across various vehicle types
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Full UK driving licence, ideally with a clean record
