We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a MOT Technician position at their busy automotive service centre in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional seeking a stable working environment, competitive salary, and clear career progression.

Supportive, professional workshop environmentDuties of the MOT Technician:
Conduct MOT testing in accordance with DVSA regulations
Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
Carry out diagnostics and mechanical work on various vehicle systems
Complete vehicle health checks and prepare inspection reports
Identify additional repairs and communicate findings effectively
Use wheel alignment equipment and perform wheel alignment tasks
Maintain a clean and organised workshop to ensure safety and efficiencyRequirements of the MOT Technician:
Valid MOT Tester licence and/or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Previous experience within a professional automotive workshop
Strong mechanical skills and diagnostic ability as a MOT Technician
Experience with servicing, repairs, and troubleshooting vehicle systems
Customer-focused approach with good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
