Our client, a reputable dealership in Romford, Essex, is seeking an experienced MOT Technician to join their busy team. Duties:
* Conduct technical diagnostics and repairs to meet customer expectations while exceeding productivity targets
* Perform MOT Testing in compliance with UK regulations and company standards
* Carry out vehicle health checks with precision to ensure safety and reliability as the MOT Technician
* Maintain and update technical knowledge through manufacturer training programmes
* Ensure all repair work adheres to manufacturer quality standards
* Support warranty processes and assist in delivering excellent customer service
* Uphold health and safety protocols in the workshop at all times
Requirements:
* City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* MOT Tester qualification
* Full UK driving licence
* Previous experience in inspection, repair, and servicing of motor vehicles
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Experience working within a franchised dealership is highly desirable but not essential
