Mortgage Paraplanner – Office Manager (Independent Mortgage Brokerage)

£35,000 – £45,000 Basic Salary Plus discretionary bonuses 5‑day working week (Monday–Friday)

A high‑performing independent Mortgage Brokerage is expanding its operation and requires an experienced Mortgage Paraplanner to join their flourishing team in their new offices. This position combines paraplanning complex mortgage cases with acting as the Office Manager, ensuring the smooth running of the office, its processes, and the overall workflow of an independent mortgage advice operation. The successful applicant will support several Mortgage Brokers and play a key role in maintaining the operational excellence of the office.

Mortgage Paraplanner – Skills Required:

Previous Mortgage Administration / Paraplanning experience is essential - minimum 2 years

Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage office operations

High level of attention to detail

Professional communication skills

Reliable, proactive, and able to prioritise effectively

Mortgage Paraplanner – Duties:

Acting as office manager to ensure smooth daily operations and efficient processes

Building client profiles within the CRM

Completing and submitting Decision in Principles

Completing and submitting full mortgage applications

Completing and submitting insurance‑related applications

Liaising with clients to collate documents and information required for full mortgage applications

Chasing lenders, providers, solicitors, estate agents, and other third parties to ensure swift and smooth case progression

Ensuring broker submissions are compliant

Experience with protection‑related tasks (medical questionnaires, GP reports, etc.) is advantageous
