Self-Employed Mortgage Adviser required. My client is a well-established mortgage brokerage based in Surrey, and due to recent growth are looking for additional advisers to join their friendly team on a self-employed basis.
My client is a directly authorised, whole-of-market mortgage and protection firm based in Surrey, and has been helping customers for 20+ years.
Self-Employed Mortgage Adviser Position Overview
Provide expert mortgage advice and guidance to all customers
Conduct comprehensive consultations with customers to understand their situation and overall goals
Stay updated on mortgage market trends, interest rates and lending policies
Educate your customers on mortgage-related terminology, processes and potential risks to help make an informed decision
Maintain strong relationships with all your customers
Assess customers' financial status, including; income, expenses, assets and liabilities, to determine their borrowing capacity and eligibility for various mortgage products
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a mortgage broker firm, have whole-of-market experience and be CeMAP qualified. My client is a close-knit company so they are looking for someone who is willing to travel into the office every now and again to see the team.
Self-Employed Mortgage Adviser Position Requirements
Previous experience working in a mortgage broker firm
Whole-of-market experience
Fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)
Must be able to pass the fit and proper assessment
No panel exclusions
