About the Role

As a Mortgage Administrator, you will support Mortgage Advisers and customers throughout the residential mortgage journey, managing cases from application through to completion. You will ensure applications are accurately packaged, submitted and progressed while maintaining excellent communication with all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage residential mortgage cases from application through to completion.

* Package and submit mortgage applications accurately and efficiently.

* Obtain and review supporting documentation to ensure lender requirements are met.

* Submit Decisions in Principle and support affordability assessments.

* Liaise with customers, mortgage advisers, lenders, solicitors and surveyors throughout the process.

* Monitor case progression and proactively manage outstanding requirements.

* Maintain accurate CRM records and detailed case notes.

* Ensure all activity is completed in line with compliance and regulatory requirements.

* Support advisers in delivering positive customer outcomes while adhering to AML, KYC, FCA Consumer Duty, GDPR and MCOB requirements.

* Deliver a professional and responsive service to customers at every stage of the mortgage process.

Package

* Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 depending on experience.

* Annual salary review.

* 28 days annual leave.

Requirements

* A minimum of two years' experience in a Mortgage Administrator or similar mortgage support role.

* Strong knowledge of the residential mortgage application process from submission through to completion.

* Experience submitting Decisions in Principle and supporting affordability assessments.

* Experience liaising with customers, lenders, solicitors, surveyors and mortgage advisers.

* Good understanding of AML, KYC, FCA Consumer Duty, GDPR and MCOB requirements.

* Experience using mortgage platforms such as Mortgage Brain, Smartr365, 27Tec or iPipeline.

* Strong Microsoft Office and CRM system skills.

* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

* Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively in a fast-paced environment.
