Molecular Genetics Business Development Specialist - Life Science - UK - 18mth FTC - Salary £50-55k plus car and plus excellent bens
Global business in the life science sector is seeking a positive, self motivated and organised Business Development Specialist for a UK field based role. This is an 18mth FTC. The role requires a flexible outlook to travel as although home based it is expected you will be out with developing further business opportunities at least 4 days per week. You will have a proven record in sales of molecular biomarkers/genetic/life science products and be able to evidence your technical skills in the Molecular Genetics area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with great interpersonal skills who wants to be responsible for driving sales and to be a member of a truly cohesive team who are focussed on ultimate customer satisfaction.
You will have:
Strong technical knowledge in the life science arena, ideally within Molecular Biology. Experience of selling into the NHS and public and private reimbursement systems. Excellent communication capabilities with medical, scientific and financial partners. Enthusiastic and entrepreneurial character with commitment to further develop growing business. Ability to work self-dependently with strong intrinsic motivation. Ability to understand and convey technologies and products in the Life Sciences field.
It is expected you will be degree educated in a Life Science or Business subject and will have proven work experience that relates strongly to this opportunity which will include previous business development/sales into clinical settings. .
You will be immaculately turned out and conduct yourself and maintain your attire to reflect your professionalism at all times.
