Molecular Biologist

Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain equipment necessary for trial work, ensuring samples are available and delivered on time.
Resolve routine issues with minimal guidance, demonstrating your problem-solving skills.
Collaborate with senior staff and supervisors to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Requirements:
Experience working with crop pest arthropods.
Excellent organisational skills to keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.
Desirable experience with injector systems such as Nanoject.
Desirable experience in running bioassays.
Desirable experience with automated symptomology analysis and/or ADME assays.
Knowledge in Analytical Science (e.g., Mass Spectrometry) and data analysis is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues across various disciplines.
Ability to guide junior staff and students, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
A degree or PhD in a relevant science discipline is required. A solid technical science background is critical.
