Role: Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher
Location: Marlow
Start date: September 2024
Supply Desk is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join our team. As a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching languages to students across Key Stages 3 to 5, designing and delivering lessons that ignite a love of language and culture among our students
As a modern foreign language’s teacher:
Gather student feedback on their preferred learning approaches and adapt teaching methods to meet their needs
Teach a foreign language to students in Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, designing engaging and challenging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
Consider students' prior learning and achievements to set realistic targets for future growth and improvement
Establish a positive and focused learning environment by promoting good behaviour and using effective classroom management strategies
Develop and plan lessons, create materials, assign homework, and write assessments as part of daily duties
Conduct teaching duties in accordance with the school's curriculum plans and national standards
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and deliver the foreign language curriculum, ensuring a cohesive and effective learning experience for students
Requirements for the Role:
Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one.
Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified teachers are welcome to apply)
Able to provide two years’ worth of employment references.
Positive and enthusiastic approach to education.
Fluent in Spanish and/or French
Ability to commute to Marlow and the surrounding areas
