We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join a thriving Languages department in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about language learning and dedicated to helping students develop the confidence and skills to communicate in another language.

Whether you are an experienced practitioner or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will be joining a supportive department that values collaboration, high-quality teaching, and a love of languages.

About the Role

As a Teacher of MFL, you will:

Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Foster curiosity and appreciation for different languages and cultures.
Plan lessons that meet the needs of all learners and support excellent progress.
Assess student learning effectively and use feedback to improve outcomes.
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
Encourage students to participate in enrichment opportunities that promote language learning beyond the classroom.About You

We are seeking a teacher who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards achieving it.
Has the ability to teach one or more modern foreign languages at KS3 and KS4 (French, Spanish and/or German desirable).
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice.
Has high expectations for student achievement, behaviour, and engagement.
Is an excellent communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues.
