Rowan Glen is a leading dairy producer specialising in high-quality yogurt and dairy products. As an expanding local dairy factory, we are committed to producing delicious and nutritious products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and sustainability.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Modern Apprentice in Food and Beverage Manufacturing. This is an exciting opportunity to learn the intricacies of yogurt and dairy product manufacturing within a dynamic and growing company. Over the course of 18 months, you will gain hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge, working towards a recognised Food and Beverage Manufacturing qualification. You will be guided every step of the way by a mentor!

Key Responsibilities:

-       Assist in the daily operations of the dairy production line, including the preparation, processing, and packaging of yogurt and other dairy products.

-       Learn and apply food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

-       Operate and maintain production equipment under the supervision of experienced staff.

-       Monitor product quality and conduct routine quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards.

-       Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

-       Maintain accurate records of production activities and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.

-       Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

-       Attend training sessions and complete coursework as required to achieve the Food and Beverage Manufacturing qualification.

Qualifications and Skills:

-       Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.

-       Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

-       Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.

-       Good Technology Skills

-       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-       Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours if required.
