Mobile Web Developer
Burnley area - only 1 day a week in the office
Fixed-Term Contract - 12 months

KO2 Recruitment is working with a fantastic client in the Burnley area, looking for a talented Mobile Web Developer to join their team on a maternity cover basis. You'll step into a key role, helping build and maintain mobile-first web experiences that delight customers and generate significantly fewer support tickets.
This is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact, work with a great team, and inherit a codebase that is well documented. This role offers very flexible remote working and you will only be required to visit the office once a week.
What You'll Be Doing
Developing responsive web applications that work across phones, tablets, and other devices
Collaborating with designers, product owners, and fellow developers
Optimising performance.
Troubleshooting bugs
Writing clean, maintainable code
Participating in code reviews and sharing best practices
Testing across browsers; including Safari and othersWhat You'll Need
Strong, hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with React, Angular, or Vue
Solid understanding of responsive and mobile-first design
Experience working with REST APIs
Comfortable using browser debugging toolsBonus Points If You Have
Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)
Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
Accessibility expertise
