Mobile Vehicle Technician (Cars & Vans)
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
Overtime: Enhanced overtime rates available
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our team in Birmingham. This is a mobile site-based role, where you will travel to customer locations and sites to carry out high-quality servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on a range of cars and vans across multiple vehicle brands.
The successful candidate will be confident working independently and have a strong background in vehicle repairs and fault diagnosis. You will be responsible for identifying issues, completing repairs, and ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Travel to customer sites to carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
* Work on a wide range of cars and vans across various manufacturers and vehicle brands
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment
* Carry out inspections, fault finding, and repairs to a high standard
* Complete work in line with manufacturer and company standards
* Maintain accurate job records and documentation
* Manage your workload effectively while working independently in a mobile environment
* Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, or similar role
* Experience working on both cars and vans is preferred
* Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
* Experience working across multiple vehicle brands
* Ability to work independently in a mobile field-based role
* Good attention to detail and a safety-focused approach
* Relevant technical qualifications or proven industry experience preferred
* Full UK driving licence required
* Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
