Shift Pattern: Days, nights and weekends, including minimum 12-hour shifts
Job Introduction
We are seeking a professional and motivated Mobile Officer Supervisor to join our Operational Support team. The successful candidate will supervise and support mobile security officers across a range of client sites, ensuring operational requirements, client expectations and company standards are consistently met.
This is a progressive role within an expanding operation, supported by company vehicles, GPS tracking technology and a dedicated 24/7 communications hub.
Role Responsibilities
* Supervise and support Mobile Security Officers across designated client sites.
* Coordinate daily mobile operations, patrols, lock/unlock duties and scheduled site visits.
* Monitor officer attendance, punctuality, presentation, performance and compliance.
* Conduct scheduled and random site inspections to maintain operational standards.
* Act as an escalation point for alarm activations, security incidents and operational issues.
* Attend significant incidents and provide guidance and support to officers when required.
* Liaise with the 24/7 communications hub, management, clients and site representatives.
* Ensure officers follow client-specific instructions, company procedures and health and safety requirements.
* Review routine patrol and incident reports for accuracy, quality and timely completion.
* Assist with incident investigations, complaints, performance issues and breaches of procedure.
* Support the induction, training, mentoring and development of Mobile Security Officers.
* Identify operational, training and performance issues and escalate them appropriately.
* Monitor the condition and appropriate use of company vehicles, equipment, keys and operational resources.
* Maintain professional relationships with clients and act as an ambassador for the company.
* Promote high standards of customer service, communication, security awareness and professionalism.
* Ensure all duties are completed in accordance with company policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
* Provide operational cover and assistance where required, including nights, weekends and extended shifts.
* Carry out any other reasonable duties required by the Company.
Qualifications and Experience
* Valid SIA Licence, full UK driving licence and minimum 5-year checkable work history.
* Previous security experience, preferably within a mobile, response or supervisory environment, with strong communication, leadership, organisational, IT and problem-solving skills.
