The Role
Are you an experienced PSV Technician or HGV Technician looking for your next opportunity?
As a Mobile PSV Technician / Mobile Service Engineer, you'll provide expert technical support to customers across the London area, ensuring vehicles are maintained, repaired and returned to service safely and efficiently.
Working independently from a company van, you'll diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, carry out servicing, warranty work and technical campaigns, while delivering outstanding customer service at customer depots.
No two days are the same, offering a varied role where you'll work closely with workshop teams to minimise vehicle downtime and keep fleets operating at their best.
This role will require someone to work either Sunday-Thursday (Friday & Saturday Off) OR Tuesday-Saturday (Sunday & Monday Off) though due to the mobile nature of the role, you'll benefit from the role being ‘door-to-door’.
Due to this role being 'door to door' and the overtime that's available, a realistic OTE for this role would be estimated at £60-£65K per annum.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on buses and coaches.
* Carry out servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.
* Complete warranty repairs and manufacturer campaigns.
* Provide technical support and advice to customer workshops.
* Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults.
* Accurately complete service reports and repair documentation.
* Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicle to a high standard.
* Build strong relationships with customers through excellent service.
* Travel to customer sites across London, with occasional overnight stays if required.
* Work safely and in accordance with company and Health & Safety procedures.
