Salary: £40,000
OTE: £50,000
Hours: Monday – Friday 45 hour week
Overtime paid at 1.5

My client is a large and rapidly growing provider of powered access and plant equipment across the UK. They are looking for a skilled Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join their engineering team. The role will involve maintaining and servicing a growing fleet of powered access rental equipment, with the successful candidate visiting customer sites across the East region. The Role
Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI), servicing, LOLER inspections, repairs and manufacturer updates on powered access equipment.
Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair breakdowns, minimising equipment downtime.
Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs while maintaining high standards across the rental fleet.
Accurately record inspections, repairs and maintenance using a company-issued PDA and follow all company procedures.
Work closely with the engineering team and hire office to manage workloads and maximise machine availability.What You’ll Need
Engineering qualification, ideally in plant maintenance, to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
Strong mechanical knowledge with previous experience working on powered access equipment.
Competent with electro/hydraulic systems and experienced in fault-finding and diagnostics.
Valid IPAF Operator licence/certification.
Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy mobile engineering environment.Next Steps
