Mobile Plant & Vehicle Technician
Rotating Shifts
£49,088 (inc shift allowances) + Overtime rates – More night shifts available if wanted
Salary: £46,055 per annum night shift premium (Roughly £49,088) + Overtime rates & Benefits
174 hours per month basic pay, 25 days paid holiday per year.
Shift pattern is Monday to Friday one week of each, rotating on a 12 week cycle:
06:00 - 14:00
14:00 - 22:00
22:00 - 06:00 £35 shift premium per shift worked
for 3 weeks out of 12
Weekends are overtime at a higher rate.

The Role:
Carrying out daily maintenance, correctives, breakdowns & servicing on the following;
* Front End loading Shovels
* Excavators
* Skid steers
* Forklift Trucks ranging from 5 tone up to 33 tone.
* Container handlers
* Material Handlers
* Electric pallet trucks
* Light goods vehicles (Vans, pickup trucks)
* Tractor & trailer units.
The Successful Individual:
* Experience with diesel engines and hydraulic systems, fault finding being able to use diagnostic equipment.
* The ability to work individually and part of a team in a busy operational environment.
* NVQ level 3, ideally mobile plant or HGV mechanic
* Car mechanic qualified can be acceptable but must have sufficient experience working on mobile plant.
* Access to your own tool set; however specialist tools are provided
* Full driving licence.
