Mobile Plant Fitter and HGV Mechanic
Our client has grown to be the Scotland’s largest supplier of plant into the Demolition & Construction industry. This growth has seen the company turnover increase and their ability to service clients far beyond their expectations. With continued support for training with a guarantee that personal development will be encouraged and promoted our client is now looking to expand and develop their operations in the Stirlingshire area with the recruitment of a Mobile Plant Fitter and HGV Mechanic.
Mobile Plant Fitter
We are looking for a qualified full time Mobile Plant Fitter (Field Based) to maintain a fleet of modern demolition and recycling machinery along with other vehicles as required. This will be mobile based attending various sites for maintenance, service, and breakdowns. Applicants for the Mobile Plant Fitter should have a good technical knowledge of mobile plant and machinery, be confident with hydraulics, electrical repairs, and welding. Have a good understanding of health and safety.
HGV Mechanic
We are also looking for a qualified full time HGV Mechanic for our client’s workshop, with previous experience as a mechanic or similar role. you will have a strong knowledge of automotive systems and components and be proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment. You will have excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to details. Have a good technical knowledge of HGV’s, be fully competent at conducting periodic safety inspections to all HGV's and LGV's to DVSA standards. Applicants must maintain a safe, clean working area, and have the ability to work with minimum supervision. The role requires applicants to perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and repair or replace faulty components.
Package
A competitive salary range £30,000 - £50,000 including OT, Pension Scheme, Company van, holidays, real Training & development opportunities.
Semi-Skilled Fitter will also be considered.
