Mobile Phone Engineer
The Opportunity
Pertemps Crewe are currently looking to recruit a Mobile Phone Engineer to join their client based in Nantwich. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a passion for technology and electronics to join a successful and fast-paced business specialising in the repair and refurbishment of mobile devices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, testing devices, and ensuring products meet the highest quality standards before being returned to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnosing faults on mobile phones and handheld electronic devices.
Carrying out hardware repairs including screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers, and other components.
Performing software troubleshooting, updates, and device configuration.
Conducting functionality testing and quality inspections following repairs.
Accurately recording repair information and outcomes using internal systems.
Ensuring all repaired devices meet company quality standards.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Supporting stock management and spare parts control where required.
Adhering to company procedures and health & safety regulations.
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience repairing mobile phones, tablets, or electronic devices.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good understanding of mobile device hardware and software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Experience with leading smartphone brands such as Apple, Samsung, Google, and Huawei would be advantageous.
Details of this Mobile Phone Engineer role:
Competitive salary of £27,000 - £28,000 per annum.
Stable Monday to Friday working pattern.
