Mobile Mechanical Supervisor
Location: North West London (Mobile)
Salary: £46,000 per annum + Company Vehicle & Fuel Card
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Mechanical Supervisor to join a leading facilities management and building services team covering multiple sites across North West London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor or Senior Mechanical Engineer looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of mobile engineers, ensuring the effective delivery of planned and reactive maintenance whilst maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise and support a team of mobile mechanical engineers across a multi-site portfolio.
* Plan, allocate and monitor maintenance activities, ensuring works are completed within agreed service levels.
* Provide technical guidance and support on mechanical and HVAC systems.
* Conduct site inspections, audits and quality checks to ensure compliance and best practice.
* Deliver toolbox talks and promote a strong health & safety culture.
* Review engineer reports, job sheets and maintenance documentation.
* Liaise with stakeholders, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
* Manage materials, parts and procurement requirements for maintenance activities.
* Support reactive maintenance and escalation management when required.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent Mechanical qualification.
* Previous experience supervising, leading or coordinating engineering teams within a building services or facilities management environment.
* Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical plant and associated building services equipment.
* Good understanding of planned and reactive maintenance operations.
* Knowledge of health & safety legislation, RAMS and permit-to-work systems.
* Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
