Description:

Randstad C&P are seeking an experienced Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our clients leading national Facilities Management provider supporting high-profile regional contracts across the North of the UK and Scotland.

In this role, you will deliver planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs across multiple commercial sites, ensuring all operations remain safe, compliant, and fully operational with minimal disruption to client activities.

Package & Benefits

Salary between £45,000 - £48,000 per annum depending on experience.
Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (40 hours).
Full-time and permanent.
Dedicated company van and fuel card provided.
Additional earning potential available through overtime.
33 days annual leave including Bank Holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Execute planned and reactive electrical and facilities maintenance tasks via an electronic CAFM system on a handheld device.
Maintain strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, risk assessments, and site-specific security protocols.
Perform technical fault-finding, diagnostic analysis, and condition inspections across electrical and general building services systems.
Maintain accurate electronic records, statutory compliance logs, and site logbooks.
Act as a key technical point of contact for local site representatives, ensuring high service quality and clear communication.
Oversee sub-contractor works when required and assist in mentoring or guiding apprentices on-site.
Manage vehicle stock levels and ensure plant rooms and work areas remain clean, safe, and organised.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
City & Guilds 18th Edition.
AM2 Qualification.
Full clean UK Driving Licence.
Strong diagnostic and practical troubleshooting skills.
Basic IT literacy with the ability to use mobile devices for timesheets, PPMs, and safety reporting.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic working knowledge of mechanical and air conditioning systems.
Previous experience in a mobile multi-site maintenance role.
