Description:
We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Forklift Technician, Forklift Engineer, Field Service Engineer or Mobile Plant Engineer to cover the West Midlands, including Birmingham. Applicants must have a strong mechanical and engineering background, with experience in forklift trucks, plant machinery, HGVs or agricultural equipment. Industry-recognised technical qualifications and a Full UK Driving Licence are required.
Location: West Midlands – Birmingham and Surrounding Areas
Salary: Up to £40,000 Basic, Depending on Experience
OTE: Up to £45,000 Including Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 Hours Per Week
Company Van: Provided for Business Use

Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on forklift trucks and materials-handling equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
Attend customer sites across the West Midlands
Complete preventative maintenance and routine inspections
Carry out repairs in accordance with manufacturer procedures
Identify equipment defects and recommend necessary repairs
Maintain accurate service records and deliver professional customer serviceMobile Forklift Technician Requirements
Previous experience working on forklifts, plant machinery, HGVs or agricultural equipment
Strong mechanical, electrical or hydraulic fault-finding skills
Industry-recognised technical or engineering qualifications relevant to the equipment
Ability to manage your own workload and work independently
Previous experience dealing directly with customers
