Mobile Forklift Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £35,000 – £44,000 basic
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (Door-to-door paid + overtime at 1.5x)
The Company
Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established and growing material handling business, currently seeking an experienced Field-Based Forklift Engineer to join their expanding team.
Our client delivers materials handling and access solutions to customers across the UK, with a strong nationwide presence and excellent reputation within the industry.

The Role
Diagnose faults, service, and carry out repairs on forklifts and plant equipment
Attend breakdowns and complete emergency repairs on-site
Work independently across customer sites while maintaining high service standards
Liaise with customers to provide effective solutions
Complete service reports and ensure accurate documentation
Travel to various sites to carry out planned and reactive maintenance
Requirements
Proven experience in the forklift or plant industry (essential)
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills (essential)
Experience with hydraulics, engines, and battery systems (essential)
Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds – desirable)
Full UK driving licence
