Mobile Engineer
London
£45,000 - £48,000
Brand new role for a Mobile Engineer to join a well renowned building service provider, covering a portfolio of commercial sites in London! This is a great role if you're looking to manage your own sites, clients and take charge of your workload. As a Mobile Engineer you'll carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on M&E plant systems, fault find, troubleshoot, liaise with contractors, update site logbooks and respond to client requests.
This is a mobile role, covering commercial sites across the M25.
Mobile Engineer Duties:
Carry out PPM and reactive mechanical maintenance.
Work on motors, generators (on/off load testing), shutdowns, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, sprinkler systems, pumps, belts, bearings, seals, and water treatment systems.
Operate and have an understanding of BMS systems.
Safely isolate plant and equipment in line with site and statutory safety procedures.
Ensure all corrective and repair works comply with current regulations and standards.
Promote safe working practices and high-quality workmanship.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors where required.
Complete logbooks, RAMS, reports, and permits to work.
Raise and close jobs using PDA systems.
Mobile Engineer Requirements:
Fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) or electrical installations / engineering
Minimum of 3 years’ experience within commercial building maintenance.
Strong communication skills with a professional, client-facing approach.
Apprentice-trained background (desirable).
Full UK driving licence.
Salary and Package:
£46,000 - £48,000 per annum
