Description:
We are currently looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer on behalf of one of the fastest growing Facilities Maintenance countries in the UK..In this varied role, you will take on a variety of the following commercial electrical works: EICR’s, visual inspections, emergency lighting installations and tests, fire alarm test and inspections, remedial works following these inspections, electrical installation, portable appliance testing across a commercial portfolio contract in London.
This is a hands-on and physical role working for a company voted as Sunday Times “Best Small Company” and would suit an individual who can work using their own initiative, have a proactive approach to undertake all tasks required a conscientious and reliable team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Monday – Friday
40 hpw
Company van + fuel card (Work use only)
Basic salary - £40,000 - £42,000 (gross) per annum
Callouts / Standby - Approximately £1,000 (gross) per annum
Opportunity for Overtime
Annual Bonus – 5% based on the division achieving its financial targets
Holiday – 23 days + 3 at Christmas (increasing with length of service)
Pension – starting at 5% employee, 3% employer, increasing with length of service.
PMI – option to opt into company funded Private Medical Insurance (P11D benefit)

Job purpose:
* The primary function will be to provide Mobile Engineering Services within the Maintenance department, Including electrical
The role requires the Engineer to at all times;
* Maintain a professional appearance.
* Maintain high energy and enthusiasm to all tasks and clients
* Ensure that all Company equipment and Company vehicle are maintained to a clean and pristine condition
* Take pride in the work carried out ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards
* Providing properly completed paperwork on a weekly basis
* Responsible for the day to day co-ordination and operation of allocated maintenance contracts
* Responsible for providing out of hours call out cover on a rota basis. (A weekly call out fee will be paid to the Employee for this)
* Responsible for ensuring prompt completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks
* Reporting to the Operations Manager any defects on site and recommending remedial or extra works
* Reporting any Health & Safety defects on site to Operations Manager
* Maintaining all on-site records
* Responsible for up-keeping and cleanliness of allocated sites
* Responsible for site surveys and reporting, as requested by the Operations Manager
* Ordering materials through the Administrator as required
* Supervision of sub-contractors for allocated contracts
* Progressing of remedial/extra works on allocated sites
* Maintaining a suitable level of professional and practical training in relation to services carried out
Skills and Experience:
* In-depth knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance within a commercial environment
* Qualified in a given trade – this could be Mechanical, Electrical or Refrigeration
* Exemplary professionalism
* Self motivated
* Valid UK driving licence
