Electrical Bias Mobile Engineer

Location: Bristol & Yeovil
Salary: £42,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

The Opportunity includes supporting a portfolio of sites primarily across Bristol and Yeovil. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the world's leading facilities management providers, working within a stable contract environment and delivering a first-class service to a prestigious global client.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services systems while maintaining excellent client relationships and ensuring high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites.

* Perform fault finding, repairs and maintenance on electrical systems and associated building services equipment.

* Support the maintenance of HVAC systems including AHUs, FCUs and associated plant.

* Undertake emergency lighting testing, power distribution checks and general electrical maintenance.

* Complete statutory compliance tasks and ensure all maintenance records are accurately updated.

* Respond promptly to breakdowns and service requests, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

* Liaise directly with client representatives and site stakeholders, providing a professional and customer-focused service.

* Ensure all works are completed in accordance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.

* Assist with minor mechanical and building fabric maintenance where required.

* Manage workload effectively across multiple sites within the portfolio.

Candidate RequirementsEssential

* Experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer or Building Services Engineer.

* Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience within commercial environments.

* Experience carrying out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance.

* Good understanding of building services systems.

* Full UK Driving Licence.

* Strong communication skills and a professional, client-facing approach.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites effectively.

Desirable

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

* City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering.

* Experience working within Facilities Management environments.

* Knowledge of HVAC systems including AHUs, FCUs and BMS controls.

* Experience of working within critical or corporate environments.
