Job Opportunity: Mobile Electrician

Are you an experienced electrician looking to join a dynamic team? My client has an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Electrician to work on installations and maintenance of electrical systems in London and within the M25.

Position: Mobile Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

* Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment (single & three-phase systems)

* Repair and replace malfunctioning components

* Assemble new electrical components and systems

* Interpret electrical wiring diagrams

* Design and install small electrical installations

* Test newly installed electrical systems

* Address customer complaints and service requests

* Perform regular maintenance checks and inspections

* Populate and issue electrical certification

* Maintain high work standards at all times

Requirements:

Education & Certification:

NVQ Level 3 in the electrical industry
Certification in the completion of an electrical apprenticeship is essential
Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is ideal but not essential
Level 2 & 3 Installation qualifications are ideal
18th Edition and 2391 certification desired but not required

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrical Technician, Electrical Supervisor, or a similar position
Minimum 5 years' experience in the commercial and electrical sector

Skills:
Complete understanding of electrical practices, equipment, and materials
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to work both individually and as part of a team
Ability to work flexible hours and willingness to travel to various locations

Benefits:

* Salary: £43,000 per annum

* Company van (for personal use)

* Parking, congestion, and fuel expenses covered

* Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

* Working within a portfolio of up to 300 commercial buildings predominantly within the M25

Administrative Responsibilities:

* Complete electronic worksheets and PDF/print reports on the day work is carried out

* Communicate professionally with the helpdesk and all staff members, promoting a collaborative working environment

* Update the helpdesk daily with your work status

* Submit timesheets weekly and all overtime by the 10th of each month

* Submit expenses by Tuesday midday each week to ensure timely payment

Communication & Soft Skills:

* Develop a good working relationship with co-workers and clients

* Interact professionally and courteously with clients, addressing their concerns and providing exceptional customer service

* Ability to multi-task, adhere to deadlines, and maintain a well-organized, customer-oriented approach

* Punctual, professional, and solutions-focused with a smart appearance in the company uniform
