Missile Test Architect
Our client, a leading company in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Missile Test Architect for a 6-month contract. As a Test Architect, you will play a crucial role in defining and managing the requirements for Test Equipment, ensuring successful delivery and implementation. Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement the project test strategy
Design and implement the project BIT (Built-In Test) architecture, including coverage requirements, timings, and system-level routines
Specify missile factory pass out testing to ensure correct product build
Specify in-service test routines on missiles
Generate and manage compliance to lower level test requirements, including test access needs, BIT coverage/timings, and factory test functionality
Analyze and model system to assess test coverage and generate diagnostic instructions
Propose and recommend cost vs test coverage trade-offs
Produce and maintain plans for activities within your sphere of responsibility
Key Requirements:
Significant experience in Test, Electrical, and Electronic engineering
Ideally, educated to degree level in a related field
Good understanding of digital electronics and microprocessor systems, analogue electronics and RF, power electronics, and test equipment design
Experience in product certification against CE directives
Proficiency in requirements capture using DOORS
Experience with structured test modelling techniques
Project management and planning skills
Strong leadership skills with the ability to establish a clear engineering vision
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness to travel occasionally, including to France
