The Best Connection is currently recruiting an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator on behalf of our well-established client based in Smethwick.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator to join a busy and professional workshop environment, working on a variety of fabrication and welding projects. If you are confident reading engineering drawings and producing high-quality welds, we would like to hear from you.

The Role

As a MIG Welder/Fabricator, your duties will include:

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Measuring, preparing, cutting, and grinding materials
Tacking and completing MIG welds to specification
Inspecting finished work to ensure quality standards are met
Producing accurate and high-quality fabrication work
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have:

✅ Previous MIG welding and fabrication experience

✅ Ability to read and work from technical drawings

✅ Strong attention to detail and quality standards

✅ Excellent timekeeping and attendance record

✅ Good communication skills

✅ A reliable, hardworking, and positive attitude
