Job description:
MIG Welder
Location: Shrewsbury
Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours of work:
* Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
* Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
* 10-minute paid break at 10:00am
* 30-minute lunch break at 1:00pm

Absolute Personnel are currently recruiting for a skilled MIG Welder to join a busy and well-established welding department based in Shrewsbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous MIG welding experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Predominantly MIG welding from jigs
* Producing high-volume components to a high standard
* Using power tools, including grinders
* Carrying out basic fabrication duties, including sawing and drilling
* Reading and working from basic engineering drawings
* Completing all work from a workbench
* Working to production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous MIG welding experience
* Experience using power tools and workshop equipment
* The ability to read basic engineering drawings
* Basic fabrication experience
* Good attention to detail
* A strong work ethic and the ability to work to deadlines
* A reliable and positive attitude
