Description:

RMS are currently recruiting for a great opportunity for a MIG Welder to join a well-established and growing Sheet Metal Fabrication Company.

Initially you will work on the dayshift to undertake a period of training, following which you will move onto a 2-shift rotation (6AM - 2:30PM/2:30PM - 11PM) with early finishes on a Friday.

The ideal candidate should be capable of welding a variety of parts in both thick and thin plate and must have:

At least 2 years MIG welding experience.
Experience of Aluminium and Stainless-Steel welding is desirable but not essential.
Experience of working to and understanding engineering
The ability to weld free hand as well as doing jig work is essential
This is a permanent position and the salary is £14 per hour while training on day shift and then increases to £16.80 per hour on shift rotations.
