Steelworker / Fabricator – Marine & Renewable Energy Projects
Contract - Outside IR35
Join one of the UK's premier marine engineering hubs, based in the heart of the south coast for an exciting Broadreach project.
This is your opportunity to work on large-scale ship repair and pioneering offshore wind energy projects, alongside a team of expert engineers and fabricators shaping the future of clean marine infrastructure.
We’re hiring experienced Steelworkers / Fabricators for an expanding facility that plays a key role in the UK’s green maritime transition. Must have experience within MIG.
What You’ll Do
* Fabricate and assemble steel components to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Operate metalworking machinery including hydraulic presses, rollers, shears, grinders and drills.
* Ensure high-quality, precision work in a safety-first environment.
* Contribute to complex refit, repair, and energy transition projects for leading industry clients.
What You’ll Need
* Experience as a steelworker, fabricator, welder, or plater.
* Industrial welding experience
* Familiarity with welding techniques mainly MIG.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans.
* High attention to detail and a strong commitment to health & safety.
* Team spirit and effective communication skills.
