Role: Business Development Manager

Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: Fully field based – 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £45,000 per annum + Benefits + Commission 

Location: Midlands based

Owen Daniels are supporting a leading manufacturing company, and we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join on a permanent basis, due to growth in the business.

Business Development Manager – Key responsibilities:

Build strong relationships with customers and distributors to support sales growth and customer retention.
Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals and customer site visits
Manage the sales process and pipeline using CRM systems, prepared customer proposals/quotes and negotiation with clients.
Work closely with internal teams to share customer feedback and support business objectives.
Monitor performance, maintain regular customer contact and report opportunities and progress to senior management 

Business Development Manager - Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven track record of developing new business through cold calling and customer visits
Ability to plan and build a strong pipeline whilst meeting deadlines
Effective communicator who can build strong relationships with clients
Possesses excellent communication skills who stays professional at all times when engaging over the phone or in person
Full UK driving license
