Description:
Middleweight Interior Designer required to join a very successful Construction and development company located in Garforth, Leeds.
Our client are one of the UK's leading purpose build residential care home developer and constructors. Over 30 years of innovation, within their vertically integrated model, this has allowed them to perfect the care home designs and they are currently on track to design and build 30 car homes per year!
The Interior Designer will work alongside the lead designer, providing support at all stages of projects and rolling out a brand fit-out scheme into new build care homes across the UK.
Key Responsibilities for the Interior Designer
Production of 2D internal finishes drawings, furniture layouts, bespoke joinery drawings and
FF&E specifications.
Liaising with sub-contractors to co-ordinate furniture and artwork packages.
Keen eye for design, sourcing accessories and for the internal dressing of the care homes.
Support team in picking and packing up fit outs, preparing them prior to site delivery.
Attending site to fit out care homes and check off FF&E specifications and drawings prior to handover to the client.Key Requirements for the Interior Designer
Qualified to degree level, preferably Interior Design
Minimum 3 year's post-graduate experience in a commercial environment.
Excellent organisation skills - ability to multitask on many projects at any one time in an ever changing fast paced environment.
Team player - ability to work across a multi-disciplined team within office, warehouse and construction site environments.
Experience in Auto Cad necessary
Photoshop and sketch up essential.
Microsoft email, word, excel.
Working as a team player within the design team, capable of multi-tasking and working in an ever changing fast paced environment.
Driving license and vehicle owner. Primarily based at Head office with regular travel and overnight stays to sites UK wide.Salary & Benefits package
