About Us: We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Midday Supervisor to join our team, ensuring a safe and enjoyable lunchtime experience for our students.
Hours- 7.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise children during lunchtime in the dining hall, playground, and other areas of the school.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Support children with SEN in social interactions and encourage inclusive play.
Assist with feeding, toileting, and other personal care needs as required.
Promote positive behaviour and manage any challenges in line with the school's behaviour policy.
Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to provide a consistent approach to student supervision.
Monitor and report any safeguarding concerns to the appropriate staff member.Requirements:
Experience working with SEN children is essential.
A current DBS check on the update service is mandatory.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with patience and empathy.
