Permanent / Full Time / Hybrid

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 DOE

About the Role

At Zesty Work we are very excited to share with you the details on this fantastic opportunity, currently for a rapidly growing, award-winning residential, bespoke homes and mixed use project studio.

With an office based at a Beautiful location on the edge of the New Forest, our client is looking to take on a Mid-weight to Senior Architectural Technologist to join the team. This studio offers a friendly and inclusive work environment that promotes a healthy work life balance across all departments. With the option to work a mixture of from home or in-office, our client gives back with other serious benefits on top including; 28 days holiday (inc. bank holidays) and a complete shutdown over Christmas/New Year, and to top all of that it comes with an additional annual leave entitlement.

Key Responsibilities

Produce high-quality drawings in support of projects.

*

Carry out competent research, analysis, and assessments to drive strategic planning decisions.

*

Survey sites, programs, regulations, and policies using quantitative and qualitative methods.

*

Produce expert development calculations in line with specified standards and proposed controls.

*

Arrange subconsultant activities and manage project deliverables independently.

*

Execute quality assurance and quality control of project documents.

*

Produce and deliver complete planning applications, reports, and appeals.

*

Communicate with local governments, public officials, and stakeholders throughout the planning process.

*

Engage in client and public processes and presentations, demonstrating teamwork and resourcefulness.

*

Offer mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

*

Stay updated on ever changing planning regulations, policies, and urban development movements in the UK.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

*

Over 3 years of UK experience in an architectural practice,
focusing on residential and mixed-use projects.

*

Confident client relations and communication skills.

*

High attention to detail with ability to work independently and as part of a team.

*

Strong time management skills with the ability to hit deadlines.

*

Thrive in a fast-paced environment with experience overseeing project deliverables.

*

Proficient AutoCAD user.

*

Proficient Revit user.

*

Proficient in InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite.

*

Excellent portfolio and examples of work, with a proven track record.
