Morson Edge are working with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy to recruit two Mid-Weight Interior Designers on a 12-month contract basis to join their London studio.

These positions sit within a growing Interior Design team delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across regulated and complex sectors including government, defence, energy, commercial workplace, education, healthcare, hospitality and transport.

Due to a strong pipeline of security-sensitive projects, candidates must hold a British passport and be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC).

The roles offer a hybrid working arrangement, typically involving 3 days per week in the London office and 2 days working remotely.

The Opportunity
We are looking to speak with creative and technically capable Interior Designers who can contribute across all stages of project delivery, from concept design through to technical documentation and construction support.

One position will focus heavily on FF&E, furniture specification and interior styling within large-scale projects, requiring a strong eye for detail, materials, finishes and the creation of high-quality interior environments.

The second position will suit a designer with a passion for sustainability, regeneration, research-led design and material innovation, supporting the delivery of future-focused interior solutions across a range of sectors.

Both roles will involve close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, clients, consultants and contractors, offering exposure to high-profile projects with long-term potential.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop interior design concepts, presentations and space planning solutions
- Produce finishes schedules, material palettes and furniture specifications
- Support the development of technical design packages and construction documentation
- Create high-quality visual presentations and 3D design outputs
- Participate in client presentations and project workshops
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors and specialist consultants
- Assist with project delivery through multiple design stages
- Ensure designs align with project objectives, programme requirements and budgets
- Support quality assurance and design coordination processes
- Maintain awareness of emerging design trends, materials and industry best practice

Essential Skills & Experience
- Degree qualified in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related discipline
- Experience delivering commercial interior design or interior architecture projects
- Strong design, presentation and communication skills
- Experience producing design documentation and technical packages
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes and interior detailing
- British passport holder with eligibility to obtain Security Clearance (SC)

Software Requirements
- Revit (essential)
- Enscape (essential)
- Adobe Creative Suite (desirable)
- Additional visualisation and rendering software experience advantageous

Desirable Experience
- FF&E specification and furniture-focused project experience
- Interior styling and curated workplace or public-sector environments
- Sustainability, regeneration or research-led design experience
- Experience working on government, defence, energy, workplace, healthcare, education, hospitality or transport projects
- Experience delivering projects through technical and construction stages
