Are you a passionate and experienced Spanish Teacher looking for a new opportunity to inspire and educate students? We have an exciting role for a Spanish Teacher at a great school in St Albans.

Tradewind is a proud partner of this ofsted Outstanding school in St Albans who have a great reputation in providing a supportive and engaging learning environment. They are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join their team and deliver Spanish to KS4 and French to KS3 (ideally).

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging MFL lessons to students across different year groups, following the national curriculum and school guidelines.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes active participation and student engagement.
Foster a love for French language and culture, encouraging students to develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their learning and development.
Collaborate with colleagues within the MFL department to share resources, ideas, and best practices.
Establish effective classroom management strategies that promote a respectful and conducive learning atmosphere.
Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and provide support during parent-teacher meetings.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification, specialising in Spanish.
Proven experience teaching Spanish to students at Key Stages 3 and 4, the ability or willingness to teach frenc at KS3 is an advantage but not essential.
Strong knowledge of the MFL curriculum and a creative approach to lesson planning.
Ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment that meets the needs of diverse learners.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Passion for languages and culture, with the ability to inspire students to develop a love for the subject.
