Your Role:
Plan and deliver high-quality MFL lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages active participation and fosters a passion for languages.
Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to effectively engage students and promote language acquisition.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to language learning across the school.
Participate in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.
Qualification and Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge and expertise in teaching French and/or Spanish to Key Stages 3 and 4.
Experience teaching MFL in a secondary school setting, with a proven track record of student achievement.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and support students with varying levels of proficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
Enhanced DBS clearance and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. (Or willing to obtain one)
