Oxfordshire Engineers: stop working overtime you're not paid for.

If you're a powered access engineer, MEWP engineer, plant fitter, mobile plant engineer or field service engineer who's tired of chasing overtime, paying for your own fuel and being told there's "no budget" for training, read on.

A leading powered access specialist is hiring experienced engineers across Oxfordshire and the wider South East. Here's what you get from day one:

Your engineering package

Up to £52,000 DOE
Guaranteed overtime, written into the deal
Up to £1,200 annual bonus
Company van and fuel card
UK travel expenses covered
33 days' annual leave including bank holidays
Company pension
Mobile phone and tablet supplied
Ongoing manufacturer training and a genuine route to progress your engineering careerYour hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm, plus overtime
Weekends are yours. The overtime is there when you want the extra money.

Your base: a workshop that looks after you

Brand new kitchen for the team
Washing machine so your uniform is cleaned for you
Air fryer for proper lunches
Fridge stocked with bacon and sausages, so a bacon or sausage sandwich is never far away

What you'll be doing

As a field-based service engineer, you'll work independently on powered access equipment and plant, including MEWPs, scissor lifts, cherry pickers, boom lifts, mast lifts and telehandlers:

Servicing, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown repairs
Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding
Diagnostics on powered access and access platform equipment
LOLER inspections and thorough examinations
Customer site visits and technical support
Accurate service, inspection and compliance reporting

This is the engineering job for you if you have

The ability to explain how a relay works. If you can talk us through it clearly, you'll be well placed to handle the electrical fault-finding on this job.
Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills
Experience on powered access, MEWPs, plant or similar equipment
A full UK driving licence
IPAF qualification (or you're willing to get it)
LOLER experience (desirable, not essential)
The confidence to work alone on customer sites and deliver great serviceYour job title might be Powered Access Engineer, Plant Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Heavy Plant Fitter or Plant Mechanic. If you can diagnose a fault, fix it right and keep customers up and running, we want to hear from you.

Why move?

You already have the skills. The only question is whether your current employer pays you what you're worth. This role offers a higher salary, overtime you can count on, an annual bonus, set hours and a company van you don't have to pay to run, with a well-known powered access company that invests in its engineers. And yes, there's bacon.
