Our client, an award-winning vehicle accident repair centre based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, is seeking a skilled Vehicle MET/Strip Fit Technician to join their highly reputable team. Benefits:
Salary between £35,000 and £40,000 per annum, dependant on experience and qualifications
Performance-related bonus with uncapped on-target earnings around £45,000 per annum
40-hour week, Monday to Friday; no weekends required

Additional facilities and company social eventsDuties as a MET Technician will include:
Accurately and efficiently remove and replace mechanical, electrical, and trim components on vehicles
Identify hidden damage post-strip and collaborate with colleagues to compile parts and labour lists
Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and company standards
Perform repairs safely, maintaining high quality standards
Support collision repairs by assisting with structural and cosmetic repairs as required
Liaise with team members to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Support ongoing vehicle repair processes by maintaining a safe and productive working environmentRequirements:
Recognised qualification in automotive MET or vehicle body repair; qualified Vehicle Technician candidates are also encouraged
Additional qualifications in electric/hybrid vehicle technology are highly advantageous
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, assisting colleagues when needed
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
UK driving licence with minimal points
