Description:
We are seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our well-established, manufacturer-authorised prestige bodyshop in Stevenage. This is an excellent opportunity to work with luxury brands including Aston Martin, Jaguar, McLaren and Land Rover.
Whether you are an experienced MET Technician from a bodyshop environment or a skilled vehicle technician looking to move into bodyshop work, we offer full training and a clear long-term career progression plan.
Benefits:
Salary of up to £50,000, dependent on experience
Monday to Friday working hours only
Flexible start and finish times, with core hours typically 08:00 to 17:30
No weekend working
Manufacturer-authorised repairer representing multiple prestige brands

Supportive, well-managed teamDuties:
As our MET Technician, complete mechanical and bodywork repairs on allocated vehicles
Dismantle vehicles and carry out fault-finding and diagnostic work
Reassemble vehicles using new parts where required
Conduct inspections and testing to ensure vehicles meet required standards
Identify additional work required or advisable in the interests of vehicle safety
Road test vehicles safely and legally when instructed
Maintain high standards of workmanship across all repairsRequirements:
The successful MET Technician will demonstrate excellent attention to detail
Strong quality awareness and a commitment to manufacturer-approved repair standards
Effective communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet repair deadlines
Previous bodyshop MET experience is advantageous
Experienced car technicians from a mechanical workshop background are encouraged to apply
