MET Technician

Description:

We are recruiting for an experienced MET Technician, Mechanical Electrical and Trim Technician or Bodyshop Technician to join an established accident repair centre in Bristol. Applicants must have previous MET experience within vehicle repair, including dismantling and reassembling vehicles to a high standard. Relevant automotive repair qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Location: Bristol
Salary: Up to £23 Per Hour Basic, Depending on Experience
Bonus: OTE £60,000

MET Technician Role
•    Remove and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components
•    Dismantle vehicles before accident repair work
•    Reassemble vehicles following bodyshop repairs
•    Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs where required
•    Inspect components and identify additional damage
•    Ensure vehicles are restored to their pre-accident condition
•    Maintain high standards of workmanship and workshop safety

MET Technician Requirements
•    Previous experience as an MET Technician, Mechanical Electrical and Trim Technician or Bodyshop Technician
•    Confident removing and refitting vehicle components
•    Good understanding of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
•    Experience working within an accident repair or vehicle repair environment
•    Strong attention to detail and quality of workmanship
•    Ability to work efficiently within a busy bodyshop
•    Relevant Automotive Technician Accreditation (ATA) or National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) desirable but not essential
