Join a reputable family-run accident repair centre in Dartford, Kent, as a MET Technician. Our client is seeking a skilled MET Technician to become a key member of their busy accident repair team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional committed to delivering high-quality repairs in a supportive environment.
Benefits for the successful MET Technician:
Competitive pay rate of £20 - £27 per hour, dependent on experience
Up to £60,000 OTE annually, including bonuses

Removing damaged parts to facilitate repairs and preparing components for reinstallation
Diagnosing additional damage and liaising with the Vehicle Damage Assessor
Ordering and checking parts for accuracy and completeness
Reinstalling repaired components carefully, avoiding damage to painted panels and ensuring manufacturer tolerances
Replacing mechanical components of steering, drivetrain, and engine as necessary
Resetting vehicle control units using diagnostic equipment
Adhering to all health and safety legislation and internal procedures
Attending regular safety and technical training sessions
Maintaining tools, equipment, and materials to high standardsRequirements of the MET Technician:
Proven experience as a MET Technician within a reputable bodyshop or accident repair workshop
Qualifications in welding and auto electrics are advantageous
Knowledge of diagnostic and resetting vehicle control units
Attention to detail and a team-focused attitude
Ability to work efficiently and uphold high standards of quality
