We are representing a reputable automotive accident repair centre based in Cheltenham, actively seeking a skilled Vehicle MET/Strip Fit Technician to join their busy bodyshop.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to become part of one of the UK's leading automotive accident repair networks, which boasts over 100 independently-owned, fully-branded franchised bodyshops across the country.

40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish timesDuties for the MET Technician role:
Perform high-quality mechanical and electrical repairs on vehicles
Replace mechanical parts with precision and confidence
Strip and refit all vehicle components, adhering to manufacturer standards
Use correct repair methods, especially for EV and ADAS systems
Conduct self-assessment of completed tasks to ensure proper fitment and safety compliance
Regularly check tools for safety and functionality
Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE
Support the team during busy periods, prioritising tasks effectively
Liaise with colleagues to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfactionRequirements:
Recognised qualification in automotive MET/vehicle body repair or working towards an IMI qualification
Alternatively, substantial experience in vehicle body repair/strip and fit or mechanical work, including suspension and steering
Proven track record in vehicle repairs, with a focus on attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and customer expectations
Good organisational skills and initiative
