Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced MET Technician to join a reputable workshop in Dagenham, representing a well-established employer committed to quality and professionalism. Training available for hybrid and ADAS system diagnosticsDuties of the MET Technician:
Strip and refit vehicles before and after repairs or paintwork
Remove and refit bumpers, doors, trims, dashboards, and interior components
Perform suspension and general mechanical repairs related to accident repairs
Remove, refit, and check vehicle electrical components and wiring
Conduct diagnostic checks to identify faults or additional damage
Carry out wheel alignments and geometry work when required
Identify additional parts or repairs during the repair process
Work with ADAS and Hybrid systems, with training provided for qualified individuals
Ensure vehicles are safely reassembled to a high standard
Collaborate with Panel, Paint, and Parts teams to maintain workflow efficiencyRequirements of the MET Technician:
Previous experience as an MET Technician or Stripper Fitter
Confident working with mechanical, electrical, and trim components across various makes and models
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
MET qualifications such as ATA, NVQ, IMI, or City & Guilds preferred
Hybrid and ADAS qualifications are advantageous but not essential; training available
