MET Technician Vacancy in Acton
Salary £36,400-£41,600 DOE + Overtime Available
Working hours Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm 1 hour lunch break
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MET (Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim) Technician to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and high-quality repair and maintenance of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Dismantling and reassembling damaged vehicles in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
* Conducting pre-repair and post-repair quality checks.
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard within set deadlines.
* Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
* Adhering to health and safety guidelines and protocols.
* Collaborating effectively with colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an MET Technician in a bodyshop environment.
* Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and trim systems.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and repair manuals.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
* Full UK driving license.
* Relevant certifications and qualifications are advantageous.
