Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor
Healthcare project | Bedfordshire | Permanent, full-time
We’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) experience to join a major healthcare project in Bedfordshire.
Two-stage tender experience is essential. You’ll need to talk through a project you worked on, the MEP packages involved and what you personally delivered during each stage.
The role
*
Manage the commercial aspects of MEP packages from tender through to delivery.
*
Lead subcontract enquiries, tender reviews, procurement and negotiations.
*
Produce cost reports, forecasts and commercial plans.
*
Manage variations, payments, subcontract accounts and commercial risk.
*
Work closely with design, estimating and operational teams.
What you’ll bring
*
Senior Quantity Surveying experience with a strong MEP focus.
*
Proven involvement in a two-stage tender.
*
Good knowledge of MEP systems, procurement and subcontract administration.
*
Working knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts.
*
A Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent experience.
